I use two or three organic vegan ones. They're expensive! Criminy.

Anyway, I like the taste of Amazing Grass Amazing Meal, and don't like the taste of The Sun Warrior Protein, so I mix them together.

There's also a nice liquid protein called: Orgain, which also adds flavor, but it's got quite a lot of calories, for a PS (protein supplement).

They all have lots of greens and fruits in them and not that much sugar. Today, I ended up adding stevia to my sun warrior, which really only served to make it taste like sweet chalk, but I also added sea-weed, as well (in the form of Irish Sea Moss), so that may have had something to do with the flavor grock. :)

    Good luck in your search!

I just ran across this while researching protein powders. I was originally going to buy this, because it's naturally sweetened (stevia, I think), but I couldn't find a price nearly as low as the non-Natural version, so I went with the non-Natural version.

Optimum Nutrition has a really great all-natural line in Chocolate (not great tasting), Strawberry (a little better), or Vanilla (the only vanilla flavor that I actually kind of like). If money is not an object and you are not averse to MLM's, Isagenix has an absolutely wonderful line of shakes!!! They are a bit higher in fats and carbs as they are an actual meal replacement that includes all your micros, but I can say they are the best tasting and high quality protein I have ever had. I no longer use them because they are a bit too expensive for me right now, but even though I do not participate in marketing the products they are much better than most on the market (Herablife, Shakeology, Advocare etc.). They are also mostly organic and completely all-natural.

Amazon usually has good prices, mine is usually around $55-$60 for a 5lb tub :) sometimes you have too look really hard to find one, and it may not be your favorite flavor lol!

I get mine from truenutrition.com. It's the cheapest source I have found if you buy in bulk (if you don't the shipping gets you). You can choose from a couple different sweeteners, Stevia is an option, along with sucralose, or get it unsweetened. I get it unsweetened vanilla or chocolate flavored, I prefer the vanilla. You can also get it unflavored. The super grade is worth the extra dollar/lb over the high grade, mixes much better and has less fat and carbs than the high grade. The unsweetened stuff doesn't taste the greatest, but I don't drink it because it tastes good. Mixed with water it's a little nasty but drinkable, mixed with milk it's fine, put it in a smoothie or something and I don't even taste it.

They sell lots of supplements at truenutrition, and you can even mix and match custom mixes of stuff. I've only ordered their whey.

I use the Optimal Nutrition Gold Standard Natural 100% Whey. I've use the Vanilla and Chocolate, haven't tried the Strawberry. The natural versions from ON don't contain any artificial sweeteners. The also make a natural version of the Casein powder, but I haven't tried that.

The cheapest place I've found to get it is on bodybuilding.com.
  • I am completely frustrated And blown away at the protein bars and shakes that contain surculose. I personally, do not want to consume it and have discovered how much GNC uses it in their products.

Since you only mentioned sucralose, I'm assuming you are not diabetic. That being said, what's wrong with sucralose?
