Hello, I'm 45 and seriously overweight.
I aim to lose 42 pounds before Christmas. I have a heart condition so I've got to take it slowly (doctors word not mine).
Any words of encouragement and advice would be welcome.
The iphone app has been a tremendous help so far.
Thats me in a (hopefully) shrinking nutshell.

  • Hello and Welcome to the site. I been using the iPhone App for the last 3mnths and so far i've lost 15lbs. So stick with it, don't give up and Good Luck!
  • Don't focus on numbers for your weight. Do something everyday that is a positive step in the right direction. Small gains add up to big victory. Somedays you are happy just to journal your food regardless of staying with your goals, some days you do everything and something extra.

    It is not a test to see who can be perfect, it is a day by day, hour by hour challenge to gain back your health.

    You can do it. Do what works for you. Try something and if you don't like, move on!!!!
