Eating last calories an hour before bed?

Ok, here is the deal. Normally I have around 1000 calories left at supper time. I then eat about 700 of them or so when I get off work at 10PM. I am in the bed by 12AM. My question is is it bad to eat that many calories within an hour of going to bed or does it really matter since I am not going over my goal?

Eat them! It makes no difference what time you eat - unless of course eating late disturbs your sleep.

If it doesn't interfere with your sleep, eat whenever you want.

This. Timing is of no importance.

meal timing is irrelevant. You burn calories 24 hours a day, 7 days per week...sleeping or otherwise.
