Cake junkie working to drop 10-13 pounds

Hello everyone! :smile:

After much hesitation, I have decided to join this community!

Let me briefly introduce myself. I am techie girl who for years has been very active (daily zumba, frequent jogging/yoga/walks, occasional hiking) but has a love affair with food. Yes, that is me. I have a tendency to overeat at night, especially after a long, tiring day at work/engineering school. To make matters worse, I switched to a new full-time 8-5 sit-all-day job where I find myself snacking too frequently. I had maintained my weight for 2 years, but in these 2 past months I have gained 5 pounds :mad: (from 157 to 162/3). I started doing kickboxing a week ago, 4 times a week. Considering that food (mostly cake and bread) is my problem area, I will now keep track of what I eat :sick: . Argh, it feels daunting at the moment :frown: but it is my goal to lose 10-13 pounds and feel great in the process :smile:

I hope to gain a sense of community and find support/be supportive of other people's fitness goals!
