So i am a 32 year old male, 5 ft 8, 73 kg, 15% bodyfat (caliper measured) looking to get to 10% BF losing 2.5 kg/5 lbs. I have a lighly active job (on my feet for 2/3 of my day) and I excercise 4 times a week (60 min each, 2 x strength circuits, 1 x cardio and a martial arts class).
My fitness pal says that I need to eat 1730 calories to lose 1 lbs a week which includes excercise (calculated at 200 calories per class). Which would make my tdee = 1930/day
But if I look at http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator, its says that for my stats i need to eat 2104/day to maintain TDEE.
So I am confused as there is such a large difference between the two values (200 cal). Which one should I beleive.
Thanks,
James
