I need to be accountable!

So over the summer I was able to lose 25 pounds, but over the last month I have been struggling. A lot. I am running the Tinkerbell Half on January 26 and I would like to lose at least 10 pounds by then. That is 10 weeks away at a pound a week (including surviving the holidays). I have opened up my diary for friends and have put post-its around my house and desk to remind me of my goal. I'm not sure what else will help me stay on track. Feel free to friend me if you wish as I need some how to be accountable for this with other people. Any suggestions? Ideas? Thanks!

What gets you going? Are you rewards based or punishment based? Competitive? Something else? Does it help you to have a new (whatever) to buy when you make good choices? What about something like doing something you hate for bad choices? Or getting a challenge group together?

Those are really good questions. I would say that I'm more rewards motivated, but I don't tend to follow through. When I hit my last mini-goal, I said I would get a pedicure, but never got around to doing it. I love challenges, though. Maybe I'll look into a group. I find the doing something you hate for a bad choice is very interesting. Not sure what that would be though. I hate to clean the house, but that stuff has to be done. Though I have made so many bad choices recently that I would have a sparkling house by now. These are great ideas and gives me a lot to think about. Thank you so much!
