Break through loads of milestones quickly the English way

Sometimes getting across a milestone on the scales is a real encouragement to me. Thankfully I'm English and I have milestones coming out my ears!

We tend to know our weight in stone rather than in pounds. 14 pounds make one stone. If I were to tell an Englishman that I weighed 198 pounds it would mean virtually nothing to him, but he would understand it completely if I said I was 14 stone 2 pounds instead.

Also I was a child in the 70s and 80s and at that time we English were being Europeanised. So I also understand and use kilograms (I think older Englishmen don't use kilograms, just the younger ones).

The beauty of this multiplicity of weight scales is that I have major milestones almost every month, even if I'm losing weight slowly. See these current examples -

200lb
90kg (198.4lb)
14st (196lb)
190lb
13.5st (189lb)
85kg (187.4lb)
13st (182lb)
180lb
80kg (176.4lb)

So, if you need encouragement, why not become English about how you weigh yourself?

I totally did this as well while losing weight through this year. Plus I added in BMI points as well - at least the major ones. so I had the following milestones
    88.9kg start
    13st
    80kg
    BMI under 30
    12st
    70kg
    11st
    BMI under 25
10st (not quite there yet 1lb off)
    60kg current goal!

I just like celebrating each time the number on the scale starts differently. I still sometimes type my weight as 74kg by mistake as I can't get used to it starting with a 6! Could never have imagined back in jan that I would be heading for 50 something kilos at this point.
