My Tea Trick...

So, I have a major sweet tooth.. and a bit of an oral fixation, I think... :tongue:

I've been trying to find ways to satisfy both and keep calories low and I'm finding that of all things, TEA has been a major help.

What I did was stock up on a bunch of different kinds, mostly herbal, to choose from, and drink a cup in between meals and before I go to sleep. Up to now, I've been mostly a coffee person, but I'm totally hooked on my new habit! :drinker:

Some favorites during the day are Yogi Royal Vitality (great for an energy pick me up at work), Gingerbread Spice, Jasmine Green Tea, Oolong, Lemon Ginger and at night.. Sleepytime and Kava.

I'm finding that not only is this helping me to stay hydrated and meet my water goal, but I'm feeling fuller in between meals, and reaping the other benefits of the many kinds of herbs in the teas. It's also good for me to have something other than food to be excited about and focus on. :bigsmile:
