    Define healthy?

I easily fit cheese into my diet, I love cottage cheese- I have it on burgeon bread toasted, with a scrape of marmite, a few times of week.

I love Parmesan on my pasta dishes, maybe once a week.

I love some cheddar in my scrambled eggs, say 3 times a week.

And I love a good blue cheese on a cracker now and then.

I guess what I'm saying is that I like quality, and restrict the quantity.

I would define healthy as clean, minimally processed foods that mostly come from the earth.

Fish stick pie for one with low or half fat cheese

I was looking at a post from (Mayhaila1) talking about fish sticks as a snack and that reminded me of a Recipe that I made up the last time I was trying to loos sum weight it doesn’t take that long to prepare and it is delish so I fort I would shear it with you all.

Add 4 or 5 fish sticks into a oven proof dish chop some leek up and put it over them sprinkle over a little chopped parsley not too much just a hint add low fat milk to just cover them sprinkle a little low or half fat cheese over the top and season to taste then cover with carrot and Swede mash and a little more low or half fat cheese optional you don’t have to add the cheese to the top.

Put it in the oven and cook for 25 to 30 minutes at 180 and serve with a side salad or your favourite vegetables.
Perfect for an evening meal and low in calories as I remember I will work that out again next time I make it.
    “”Enjoy””

I don't have recipes to share, but I've found that the sharper or stronger tasting the cheese, the less you need.

I made a spaghetti squash cheesy casserole and it was pretty good. I just googled it and found a recipe. All I needed was a spaghetti squash, Greek yogurt, onions, garlic and cheese. Pretty easy and very tasty:smile:

    Cheat's Caesar salad dressing:
3 tablespoons of fat free fromage frais
1/4 tsp garlic (grated on a micro plane or crushed)
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, very finely grated
    squeeze of lemon
    3-4 basil leaves, finely chopped

Mix together well, season with salt and pepper, if a runnier consistency is preferred just add a little milk or water

Great on salad leaves, with or without chicken and also with potato!

Cheese doesn't occur naturally, so it has to be processed. Also, by definition, cheese is made from milk, so it's not vegan. There are vegan substitutes, but I'm guessing they're even more heavily processed than cheese itself.

What jester said. You can follow your definition of clean, you can throw vegan in there as an added constraint, but that rules out cheese.
