Question for those that use "healthy" protein powder?

I used to use whey with sucralose, carageenan, tons of additives and was feeling horrible so switched to raw hemp protein and raw protein (the garden of the life brand) that comes from mostly sprouts/seeds/flax/chia etc. I tried the jay robb one and will try the pea protein next. Its so hard to find good protein though, even some of the "natural" ones sweetened with stevia had fillers/additives in them.

1. If I warm up the protein or cook it, does it ruin the health benefits of the vitamins in it and the ability for my body to absorb the protein after I lift? I know we cook eggs/meat and still get the protein and vitamins so just assumed the same.

2. Will I gain less muscle if I lift and use vegan/raw protein instead of whey? I still get ~20g protein from eggs and ~20g protein from greek yogurt for a total of around ~120g. I know the lifting is important, but asking about the absorption of the protein after lifting and whether I'm limiting gains by using it. If I am, I'll add in some plain whey isolate too.

Thank you :)

I like using Garden of Life, Plant Fusion, and Healthy & Fit Egg protein. I completely agree with trying to find some good protein powders. Sugar alcohols, sucralose, and inulin bother me. A lot of protein powders contain one or more of these ingredients.

    1) No.

    2) No.
