Desert Island Discs....

There is a programme on the radio over here where a celebrity picks eight songs they would take to a desert Island if they were being marooned. They then pick one they would rescue if the other seven were washed away.

They are also given the Bible and the Complete works of Shakespeare and they get to choose another book, and one luxury....

I guess I spend a fair amount of daydream time compiling this list (just in case I ever make it as an actor or musician and get invited on) but it's so hard....plus it changes every day.

Anyone have a firm list?

I don't, but I listened to Radio 4 when I used to live in Britain, and know the programme very well.

I have too eclectic music tastes to narrow down my favourites list to just eight,.

Planxty, Beethoven and Led Zeppelin would be on there though....
