Ideas please.....

Currently i have a hip flexor injury, can't remember the muscle names but I've damaged the front of leg going up to hip and a muscle that goes to my lower back.

I am not allowed to run, walk fast nor on an incline, no step ups lunges etc, anything that lifts and extends it, no x trainer, rowing machine, etc, bike is ok if i am sensible, boxing is ok as long as i stand differently and don't push through the hip, and swimming and pool walking is ok, so that's the extent of my cardio, if anyone can think of anything else id appreciate the suggestions :-)

As for leg strength, squats are ok bodyweight or dumbells, but not with the barbell and nor can i do deadlifts :-( I'm bored of using the same old leg machines so if anyone is creative id love to hear :-)

Sorry its so long, but I'm just getting so bored and i know i can't push it, but would. love to have more variation.

i'd go with swimming and upper body strength training while you heal.

Try Googling seated cardio. You should be able to find plenty of workouts to get your heart rate up that do not require the use of your hip at all.
