    Your scale may be unlevel or there may be something leaning on it. I've had that happen when I move mine.

    One other possibility is that you just read it wrong. Since your scale is not digital, that would be easy enough to do.

    Awww, it's probably one of those irrational OCD thought things. I had that once for a couple of days with a pain medication change. You know the oven isn't on, but you keep checking to see if the oven is on! You just do.

    She was just making SURE that you can't gain 20 lbs over night, lol. I get it. The jokes were really great, though :D
