Bulking around the holidays?

I figure we're going to have guests for a few days, I will hopefully be 10 lbs from my goal by then, I could eat at maintenance and do extra workouts to try and build some muscles... Right now I'm doing ChaLean Extreme (the weight lifting part) with cardio for walks... I'll be at the third phase by then (it's heavy lifting until failure, but only really targets a few muscles each day, as opposed to a full body workout).

Doable? Worth it? Would this even wield any result if I suddenly went from eating at a 15-20% deficit to maintenance for just a few days? And how would you do it to get some results? I have 50 lbs dumbbells.
