Your favorite fat burning workouts & activities - HELP!

So I hate the normal gyms stuff - ellipticals, treadmills, bikes - it's all BORING!
Then I move into my circuit training - squats, rows, situps, pushups, mountain climbers, weight lifting, medicine balls, ropes, cable machines, etc -- BORING AND SELF CONSCIOUS
So two questions:
#1 - what is your favorite quick fat burning routine at the gym (exercises, sets, weight)?
#2 -- what are your favorite things to do to burn fat that doesn't seem like your working out?

Exercise doesn't burn fat, per se, it burns calories which can come from fat and lead to fat loss. Try some HIIT on the treadmill sprints followed by a slow jog with some pumping music. Or try the rowing machine. If you're willing to workout outside the gym, I'd suggest you look at the workouts on Fitnessblender.com or the BeFit programs on the BeFit a Channel on YouTube. As for fun workouts in the gym, I loved the hip hop class I took. Spinning can be fun, and there's usually tons of different classes offered. Outside the gym, hikes in a beautiful setting, swimming, dancing.0

You could try combining things. One workout I like is run 1/2 mile, then do 10 pushups, 20 squats, 30 situps - repeat 6 times. Time yourself so you can do it again in the future and try to beat your previous time. I like this one because I hate doing long stretches of cardio, so this one has it broken up. Plus trying to beat times makes me push myself. (it's from a website www.blondeponytail.com)
I'm not sure if you're willing to try one, but group classes are fun. I LOVE kickboxing aerobics classes. It's choreographed and I can just get into a zone. It's so much fun that an hour flies by. Ever tried spin classes? Those are fun too. I find I'm motivated when I'm working out with a group of like-minded people. Lots of gyms have bootcamp style classes that may be drop in. It may give you some new ideas on routines and exercises to work into your own routine0 -
1) swim intervals
2) cycling
But none of that matters if my diet isn't correct. As Jen said, exercise burns calories and where those calories comes from depends on a number of factors.
Control your diet to control your weight.
Use exercise to get stronger, faster, look better, and dozens of other reasons.0
