So this monday I was starting my 3rd week of my 12 week challenge. However these past 2 days has been rough for me. Honestly I didn't log everything because don't think it will all fit. lo.l I completely went binge overload. (crazy part week 1 and 2 i didn't deprive myself from what I wanted) I need to over come this and I will. So I will start my challenge back up on next monday. Should I start over to week one or continue where I left off, week 3? What would you do? I always have a hard time starting things in the middle and feel like I should just start all the way over. Yes, I know I can actually start today but I'm a Monday Start person. Got to get out of these old ways. smh

I would continue on! A couple of bad days shouldn't drail the progress you made the first two weeks. You'll get back on track. Also, the rest of this week, I would still count it as week 3. Just pick yourself up and make better choices the rest of the week.0

I would restart TODAY! or tomorrow at the latest. I know myself and if I gave myself until Monday, my weekend would ruin my restart. If you are on a specific plan like carb cycling and want your "free" day to fall on a specific day just restart for that but finish the next couple of days on program until you restart.0

Depends on what the challenge is I suppose - if it's something that gets harder every week eg a workout plan, you might need to start again form the top. Do make sure that wherever you start you start NOW though.
Never leave that till tomorrow which you can do today - Benjamin Franklin <-- Words to live by.0 -
Why wait till next Monday? Don't treat this week like it was a total loss just because of 2 days. Dust yourself off, and solider on, girl!
Continue back on your 12 week challenge where you left off, and go strong.
You can do this!0 -
You already started, carry on. You had a couple bad days, own it and move on. You don't get to keep restarting life over because you mess up. No reason you have to wait until next Monday, that just gives you more time to go off the rails again. Own your behaviour, give yourself a kick in the *kitten* and get back to work.0

I'd find a less stressful/intensive way to lose weight. In fact, that's what I did do. I didn't exercise, I didn't change my eating habits in any way except to stick to my calorie deficit. I still eat McDonald's every morning, and Taco Bell for dinner several times a week. I was just smarter with my food choices, so the calories added up properly and I still felt psychologically that I was getting enough food. I hate exercise and strict food preparation/selection, so I knew I'd never stick to any plan built around exercise or eating only certain types of food. I just counted calories, that's it.0

You all make good points! Hopefully one day I will have better control0

Or you could structure your weight loss plan in such a way that you only need a little bit of control at specific times. I do all my "self control" at the store—I don't buy tempting, high calorie items, but I do buy snacks like 100 calorie bags of microwave popcorn, that take a few minutes to eat, and are therefore psychologically more satisfying than a 100 calorie cookie that is gone in 60 seconds. :laugh:0 -
Definitely don't wait to keep your habits in mind. Every little choice adds up, so even just aim to do better than when you aren't watching calories. As long as you do better than you did most of last year, say, then it's a good day
Stricter than that is usually required unless you have amazing patience, but no need to scrap anything as if it's so all-or-nothing. As long as you do better than you did before most of the time, you'll be losing weight. Slowly, maybe, but it's still true0 -
12 weeks won't go much. As long as you can come to terms with that and make necessary long term changes then continue on week 3. STOP BINGE EATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0
