Lack of sleep last night has me grouchy and hungry! Does anyone else eat more on days they don't get enough sleep? If so, what do you do/how do you cope?

Yes! There have been studies done, I believe, and it's definitely a "thing" to feel hungrier when you don't get enough sleep. Exercise helps. And a nap, when you can0

I always crave carbs on my tired days. It's not a coincidence, your body is craving energy. Try some protein. My son woke me up at 4:30 and working out was the last thing on my mind but I did it and am so glad. Sending good thoughts.0

I deal with lack of sleep daily. Insomnia, shift work, and kids. I try to stay very hydrated and 10-20 min naps will do wonders if you can grab one or two in the day.0

You ain't kidding. I've been a shift worker for years and it's partly why I blew up a bit several years ago. Lack of sleep screws with way too many things with the body (and mind)0
