Alright, peeps. I'm going to need you guys' help.
I made a bet with my friend that if I'm not down 60 pounds by the beginning of May, I owe her $200. Money, that I frankly don't have. I've lost 12 pounds so far but I need some advice and tips on how to lose the remaining 48 in a healthy way.
So any advice you guys can give me, please do. I made this bet for the soul purpose of giving me motivation. I'm tired of feeling sorry for myself and I wanted to make a difference. And I know that with this bet in place I have no choice but to win.
So...come on and help a girl out!

Wow- so basically 50lbs in 5 months. This could deem difficult as you get closer to May but if you really want to do it...You can!!

Go to the above website and calculate your BMR and eat at least that amount per day.
Get at least 30 min of exercise at least 5x per week.
Invest in a Heart Rate Monitor and accurately track how many calories you burn.
Invest in a food scale and measure all your food
Stay under your calorie goal each day. Remember 3500 calories = 1lbs.
Find motivational friends to help cheer you on
Stay focused - eye on the prize. You can do it!!0 -
I say keep doing what you are doing! You are down 12 and as long as you have not stalled out, keep it moving. Always make sure you stay honest about your logging, weight everything, watch your sodium, drink a ton of water and burn some calories at the gym...perhaps if not already doing so..how about some heavy lifting? If you are honest, determined, with willpower and eat the right amount you will be good to go!0

I recommend you avoid gambling establishments.
Anyway, all you need is to eat at a calorie deficit to lose weight. If you choose to work out, a combo of weights and cardio will have you looking great. I eat back my exercise calories, but the choice is yours. However, most people on the site would recommend making sure to net a decent amount of calories. At least 1200, and if you have 60 pounds to lose, you should try netting higher so you don't get burned out since there's still 48 pounds to go.
Don't get discouraged when you mess up, don't cut out all the foods you love, and don't try random fads to lose the weight quicker. Calorie deficit is a guaranteed method as long as you give it time and are truthful about what you eat.0
