Will hating my job affect my weight loss?

Sounds like a silly question but I ABSOLUTELY HATE my job. I am stressed non stop for 40 hours a week. I know, I know everyone will say to just quit but financially that is not an option right now. I just graduated from beauty school and take my exam on Tuesday to get my license so the end is in sight, BUT I still must stay at my job a while longer.
Anyways....I am just curious if anyone knows if this kind of stress and irritation I deal with every day will make it harder to lose weight. I know stress can cause weight gain. I am, on the other hand, perfectly happy outside of work.
Any input on this?

Thanks!

Stress can prevent weight loss, so yes.

Not only can it make your weight loss harder, stress can wreck havoc with relationships, your sex life, etc., etc. Some stress is good, but 40 hours a week stress non-stop is not good all the way arond.

Agreed. My stress has been off the charts for the last 6 months and weight loss has been nil in that time. Eating has been poor too, but not so poor that I shouldn't have lost any weight.
