Hi

Thought I'd see if I could get some tips here.

I did my hammy and am not to run/cycle use my hammy until early December.

Any tips on upper body exercise is appreciated.

So far I'm thinking

1. Swimming/water walking
2. Upper body weights
3. I would use the arm cycling machine but find its quite difficult. Next time I see a regular on it I'll ask him for tips. Actually I'll ask the gym instructor for a lesson because I'm probably doing it wrong

Can anyone think of some other exercises I can do?

You've thought of most that I could think of :)

I do do one thing that is fun and amazing, but it's not everyone's thing, lol. Belly dance! You can find drills where the lower body isn't used at all, and the focus is on upper body isolation and flexibility. Things I do for UB bellydance are like chest circles, chest locks and drops, figure 8s, undulations, bellyrolls. I can't even do all the great arm stuff, so add that in and you have a very fun and worthwhile session :)

Edit: oh, and shimmies, of course! You can shimmy all afternoon if you need to, lol :D
