substitution! !

I'm looking for a healthy alternative to "sour cream"! Can I get some help from MFP world! !

    Sour cream is one of the few things that isn't really as noticeable when you opt for the low fat version. Others use 0% fat Greek yogurt.

    I also take a ripe avocado and hit it with the mixer till it whips up some If you still want some calories, but want a healthier fat.
    Add some lime juice and cilantro for a more southwest flavor.

    I second/third this. Even my teenage daughter is okay w/ it :)

    My husband isn't but that's mostly because he abhors anything resembling "substitution" on principal (IE NO veggie cheese, NO quinoa give him rice, NO ground turkey ANYTHING that should be beef) Truly he can be limiting and a tad annoying.

    I really like Daisy Light sour cream. I don't usually like light versions of things but it tastes great.
