How long has it takenn you?????

Hi

I have finally decided to get on back track with my weight loss. A while a go I managed to lose 45lbs but sadly have put 20lbs back on through plain laziness & eating to much of the wrong foods. I will be turning 30 next June & would love to lose my regain plus more would be a bonus.

I was just wondering how long it has taken people to get their weight loss goals, what they have done, your height and any photos would be fantastic.

I know everyone is different put any inspiration would be great

thank you

Would like to see some too! However it has taken me 10 months to lose 41lbs

    sw 228
    cw 187
    gw 128

I am 5'3 and lost this on calorie counting alone. I have recently started walking and I am planning the c25k to help shift the next 40.

I still eat crap just not as much and im still decreasing it.

Future goal - next to no junk food ever,, exercise 6x per week and loss of 100lb by Nov 2014

    We shall see.

    Currently 167lb now.

So almost 3 years and 99lb ! Took me a while... But I had a few breaks along the way and gained back about 10lb or so once or twice... or 3 times :) Always got back into it though and that's the main thing !!

Would love to reach my Goal by March 2014, 3 year weight loss anniversary ! GW 140lb.

    5'5 !

I try to eat clean, lots of veggies and fruit, I've cut out white bread, rice and pasta and stick to wholegrain, changed to vegetarian but still eat dairy and the occasional treat thrown in !! Moderation is key !! Tracking everything and try stay within calorie allowance !

Good Luck ! It's hard to get back on the wagon after you have a little stumble but you'll get there, stay focused !!! x

Hi there! I'm turning 30 in May so I am working to lose as well. I started my journey three months ago and I'm down 30 lbs as of today (I'm 5' 9"). Hoping to lose another 30 by my birthday. I pretty much eat anything I like in moderation and learning about (and following through with) proper portion control has helped me the most. I have tried a few other programs over the past years but MFP just makes sense for me since I get to be in control, eat what I like, and don't have to report back to anyone. : ) Good luck working towards your goals... You're definitely in the right place to do it!
