Homemade bars before running

I'm looking for a quick bite before my hour long runs and came across a few of these. Has anyone tried a homemade energy/calorie bar? Or do you have any opinions on these? I'm a roll out of bed and go kind if runner so eating a bar is much more preferred than making oatmeal and toast. I'm
Wondering if these have enough carbs for me rather than being protein bars.
