Snacks, Work, Help!

Hi! I am new to MFP and really excited to find friends and motivation. I think this is what I have always been missing when I try to lose weight, and I never stick to my goals.
I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for good snacks for the work day. I am looking for healthy, non-packaged foods to take along with me. I run in and out of meetings and when I'm finally done I may have missed lunch and then feel the need to binge (which is horribly, i know).
So far I've been bringing apples and bananas, but that doesn't give me the protein I'm looking for... Thoughts?
Thanks everyone!

Buy a tub of plain, non fat greek yogurt and a bag of frozen fruit of your favorite fruit. The night before, take a cup of fruit and a cup of greek yogurt and place in a container to take to work the next day. Great snack, and has 20+ grams of protein.0

Nuts, carrots, mozzarella cheese cubes, cottage cheese is great too!0

Nuts
Edamame (steamed or dry)
Slice up your apple and add some peanut butter
Hummus is really simple to make, and while it isn't HIGH protein, it does add protein to veggies which make a good on the go snack.0 -
almonds
sugar snap peas
roasted chick peas
I also like superfood crunch bars-vegan live food, but in a package:)
Cheese sticks and greek yogurt are also good, but come in packages. Actually everything I listed comes in some sort of package. Just don't eat the package!
If you make sure that your main meals are high-protein, you won't have to worry about your snacks being quite as high in protein. think eggs or greek yogurt at breakfast, chicken/turkey/lean beef or pork for lunch or dinner. I eat salad with cottage cheese and some other protein source for lunch, then if my snack is low in protein, is not such a big deal.0 -

I take all my food to work, including my lunch. Snacks are Greek yogurt, nuts, banana. I personally love my yogurt with nuts mixed in.0 -
Nuts, Apple or Celery with some peanut butter, string cheese, greek yogurt, fruit, pita chips, beef jerky.
I like to take some time over the weekend and portion out snacks and some meals for lunch. It makes it easier to grab something quickly in the morning during the week to take with you.0 -
WOW thank you all for such great suggestions! I will grab nuts, yogurt, and fruit and definitely portion things out today for the rest of the week.0

I do pretty much what everyone else has stated with fruit but I also boil enough eggs for a week and keep them with me for work snacks. One snack combo I like is cottage cheese topped with chopped hard bolied eggs and shredded cheese. I sometimes barley have enough time for a lunch at work so snacks are very handy. Also, I buy some granola bars sometimes to hold off the sweet tooth.0
