Discomfort in old stress fracture area

Last summer I developed two stress fractures in my foot after getting into running too quickly. I wore a boot for a month and it healed. Fast foward to this fall--I had a baby 9 weeks ago and I got back into exercise ( Zumba and dance fitness--lots of jumping involved) after taking the last two weeks of my pregnancy plus the first 6 weeks postpartum off.
Now I am feeling mild discomfort in the area where I had the stress fractures. I wonder if I am re-breaking something, or if it's some kind of scar tissue buildup, nerve tenderness, or arthritis or something? Has anyone experienced this?
