What do you do when you cook for your boyfriend?

Hi all!
I live with my amazing boyfriend, who is very supportive of my weight loss goals. I've always been "the cook" in our relationship and I plan and cook our meals together. It's important for me to continue cooking for him because it's a nice thing I love to provide for our relationship.
Do you have any tips on how to keep him happy with food and portion sizes when I am trying to scale back? He generally likes healthy stuff (he grew up vegetarian in india!) but he does like sweet things and lots of cheese (which are big time trigger foods for me). I figure I could just serve him more than I take for myself... I just hope I can have the willpower to not get seconds when he does!

Lots of veggies, and let him add his own cheese to the dish.
I cook for my husband every night. We eat the same food and the fuzzy SOB has lost 15 pounds from it :laugh:0 -
I also cook for my boyfriend and usually, I'll cook the same thing but add more umph to his by adding cheese or more carbs like potatoes or bread on the side. An dog course, I give him bigger portions than mine so neither of us have to get seconds. He doesn't like to eat healthy so I like to stuff veggies into his food as much as I can too. But he has a couple go to foods that he likes to eat, including burgers, so I've almost become immune to the craving for them cause I cook them up so often. Or if I want something similar, I'll opt for turkey patties on lettuce. I think the easiest way is to try and cook healthier meals for him as well. It makes eating better, easier0

Hubby eats what I eat. He gets extra cheese, guacamole, potatoes etc. I also make him a bigger lunch so he gets to eat more then (plus he has snack foods at work that are triggers for me).
((And yes hubby lost any excess weight already too .... Grrr ... ))0
