Walking motivation...

We have a new puppy at our house. We have had Ginger since the 2nd of July. I have found myself letting my daughter take her out and I have stood by the kitchen window watching her. 2 days ago I started taking Ginger outside. I have begun LOVING walking her around the block. She loves her walked. She is getting her exercise and I am getting more exercise than I have in years!! It's rewarding for me to see her so happy when I pick up her leash and I'm MOVING!! I have more energy than I have in a long time. Now I look forward to 3 walks a day with her and I also take her out in the backyard for her potty breaks! I also have pulled out my AbCircle I purchased last year. 2 days on that again and I can already feel my tummy & abs getting tighter! 3 mins on that is equivalent to 100 situps! Love it!!

    That is pretty much how I started walking as well. Started taking my dog around the block and just kept working up. Now I run 4 miles 4 days a week and 6 miles on Saturday and Sunday. Feels so good to just get your body moving and active!!

    yeah walking the dog is a great way because i feel like it gives you an exercise routine and you kind of feel like you have to bring the dog out everyday even when your not up to it.
