injury or soreness

I'm experiencing pain in my lower back. Could it be an injury or just sorness? (Normal exercises include sit-ups, push-ups,jogging,ect)

I believe it is probably just soreness unless the pain is unbearable. If you are doing sit ups, crunches etc. Those exercises are extreme to your lower back if you don't do them very often. Make sure your form is 100% when you are doing them. I would take a day or two off & see how you feel.
  • Don't forget to stretch :-) it can help plenty with soreness, and if it is injury it will help too.

What does the pain feel like? The type of pain can give some indication as to its severity.

I'm sorry but we can't tell you that. I advise seeing your doctor if it persists.

I also want to know the answer to this. I haven't been doing any situps. Just crunches with my back flat against the floor. My lower back pain is very severe. I couldn't even bend down. I did some stretches and placed an icy hot patch on it. It's not so severe now.
