I'm in the holiday spirit-went to a friend's house for a pre Thanksgiving Thanksgiving dinner last night. Just got me to thinking-I love this time of year and have so many things I'm thankful for...so I'll start.

1.) While I do constantly worry about calories and exercise, I am thankful that we have food to put on the table each day. I do not under estimate what a blessing that really is and my heart goes out to those who go hungry each year...calorie counting really is a first world concern but even in this country, there are those without enough to put food on the table or (soon) gifts under the tree.

I don't want to take for granted the things we've been given.

What are you thankful for?

    Oooooh...good one.

I bought a french press and it makes some of the best coffee ever-no more messing with filters either.

    Great post idea!!

I'm really thankful for my job. I had a couple of horrible jobs back-to-back and they really made me question my career, but my current job is a refreshing confirmation that I am doing the right thing and I found the right company to work for. I am happy to go to work every day and I never thought I would feel that way.

Like OP, thankful that food security is not a concern for my family. Also, that my three kids are so fantastic! I love that they are each so different, yet so alike and that they are really good kids overall!

    Friends, Family & Health. :)

    Health is a big one.

I have Type I diabetes, but so far no complications at all...*knock on wood*. Tomorrow it will be 14 years to the day since my diagnosis. I'm very thankful I've had such a great team of doctors, nurses and dietitians helping me along the way.
