Hi all

I am starting insanity tonight :D Eeek so excited and nervous at the same time. Feel free to add me as a friend if anyone is also starting it :)

I have a family christmas meal on the 6th of dec and was hoping to have lost weight/ loose fat for that. I will do the workout regardless but was just wondering if anyone saw any results that early on or whether most of your results came from month 2 ?

Thank you

Most of your weight loss results will come from your diet. Exercise will make you more fit, bring out some muscle and possibly help you lose inches.

I want to improve my shape really not too bothered by my actual weight. I am going to try and be healthy so hopefully I will see some good results :)

No significant weight loss in the first month (maybe 2 lbs) although I was getting stronger and gaining muscle. I did a 3-day cleanse between Month 1 and Month 2 (recovery week) and dropped 5 lbs!

Any work out, as long as it is sustainable to your lifestyle is a good one. My SIL did insanity, and lost a lot, but did not sustain either the eating recommendations or the exercise, so she regained. i am doing tabatas and while I have lost just 4 pounds, I swapped 4% body fat for an increase in muscle percent (3.6) and lost 5 inches and went down 2 sizes! good luck and keep it fun!
