What is the most effective exercise to do in 30 mins in a morning before work to lose weight?
In the gym?

    Not trying to be snarky but whatever exercise you enjoy will be the most effective.

    One that you want to do everyday whether it's going for a run, lifting weights, Jillian Michaels DVDs, etc.

    if it gets you out of bed and moving, it'll be effective.

    To lose weight? Use that 30 minutes to plan your meals for the week. :) Losing weight is 80% diet.

    To get the most out of your time at the gym (which is I think what you meant) I would do HIIT intervals on the treadmill on M, W, F. Search for "30 minute HIIT treadmill intervals" or similar on Google and you should find something. On Tues/Thurs, I would do a weight lifting routine that includes at least deadlifts, squats, rows, and overhead presses. Maybe throw in some pushups and ab work.

    Personally I do ChaLEAN Extreme at home which is set up pretty similarly to the above. I love it.

    I'm doing Focus T25, which is only 25 minutes. I like the poster re: good meal prep too!
