Mfp Calorie Suggestions-Eat back exercise calories??

I know that sedentary means like no exercise, but what about the ones that are set at lightly active etc?? Does that mean you eat back or do not eat back exercise calories? Like for me, Mfp says 1320 cal allowed for sedentary (I have a sit down desk job).., but for lightly active it says 1470..Would I eat back exercise calories on both or only if I followed Sedentary?

Yes, you eat your exercise calories at any activity level, assuming you are following MFP method and not TDEE method.

Your activity level accounts for normal daily activity like standing all day or walking (like if you're a waitress).

Ok great! Thanks..Wasn't for sure if lightly active meant with exercise being lightly active per Mfp.

I would start out at sedentary and definitely eat back your exercise calories. If you are still hungry, you could try bumping it up to 1470 (still eating exercise calories) and see what happens. But yes, if you are answering the MFP questions and not altering the numbers it gives you, other than to account for exercise, you should definitely be eating your exercise calories back.

MFP already has you set at a calorie deficit according to the answers you gave, such as how active you are, and how much weight you'd like to lose as well as how quickly.

I set mine to lightly active due to my job (teacher) and my active hobbies (horseback riding, etc). I count the cardio and strength sessions separately and eat some of those cals back.

If you are using MFP burns, you may need to be careful on eating them back. I find MFP overestimates my cardio cals by 25-50%.

Most of the time I eat back my exercise calories, like if I did a lot of cardio and weights. Otherwise I would be dizzy and shaky. Have to feed my muscles! :O)

Possibly, or it could just mean you're pushing yourself too hard during exercise. Know your limits, and just make sure you're eating the calories you are alloted. When you eat them doesn't matter. :-)

I only burn like 170-220 calories during exercise (hrm) so I don't think I am working out too hard but I have health conditions so I dnt want to push myself too hard.
