For those starting out or struggling;
It will be difficult.
You will struggle.
You will cry and scream and shout at times.
You will need to find willpower.
You will need sheer dedication and strength.
You will need to sacrifice things you think you love..
But you will find new loves.
You will be tempted.
You will fail occasionally.
But once you get this far I can assure you
It will be worth it.

I've been doing the 5:2 diet so 2 days 500 cals and 5 days up to tdee. I've found my appetite has changed, as has my perspection of food so I naturally choose healthier options now and regularly eat unprocessed foods. I began on 29 April this year0 -

Doesn't it feel good to make progress?
Funny that I fell into a similar diet pattern without knowing there were actual plans for such. We have also banned almost all processed foods from our house.
Try this as an exercise in discipline...
Once a week I walk through the supermarket bakery to gauge my temptation level.0 -
