Weight not dropping!

HI,
I am trying to loose 20kg to be where i used to be - at 57kg. I picked up alot of weight over a year (20kg) and now after a year of cutting back on the junk food i am at 74kg. I am now on the 1200 cal diet and going to the gym 3 - 4 times a week. Mostly by doing Spinning, water aerobics or kick boxing. I am still at the same weight! Every time i want to eat something, i feel so guilty by it that i don't enjoy it.
For example today i had a smoked chicken, avo and bacon wrap for lunch and i want run away for feeling so guilty about it! when i am over my cal by 20 cal i feel so de-motivated by it. I was told that you can loose at least 1kg a week if you are on the 1,200 cal diet. It's been almost 3 weeks and my weight is staying right where it was... at 74. Actually going up! now at 74.4kg. i am drinking water, making sure the cal is at 1200 a day and exercising an hour a day.
What more can I do?

This exactly. You can't eat only 1200 and not eat the exercise calories back. Especially if you do spinning and kickboxing, those burn quite a few and your body needs the fuel

Thank you for the responses
@TavistockToad: Yes I take into account everything... what I drink, what i eat... whether it be an apple, a slice of cheese or cider when going out.
@ClassickQC: Thank you for the link. Really interesting to read! I tried to keep my calories as low as possible because of that counter telling you how much you will weigh in 5 weeks time. i know it is only a rough estimate but, when it tells me that i will just have lost 2kg in 5 weeks, that's what gets me to that point of trying to eat less and gyming more.0 -
no, your not eating in a deficit. you may think you are, but your not. your not eating as low of calories as you think. eat in a deficit, and you will lose weight!0

I understand what you mean, but keep in mind this is a marathon, not a sprint. Those 20kg didn't creep up on you all of a sudden , it took a while and it is to be expected to come off as slowly.
By losing weight slowly and steadily by keeping a good relationship with food and exercise (eating the things you like in moderation, not exercising like a maniac and eating your calories back) you will have much more chance of being successfull in the long run with your weight loss project. Losing 1lb (0.5kg) a week is normally recommended
You need to keep in mind that in the end, one day when you reach your goal you will want to keep it off and that starts right now with a good balance between your ''diet'' and exercise

Elouwdi,
If you're not losing weight you are eating more than you think and/or you are underestimating your calorie intake. Even if you're not eating your exercise calories back, eating more than you realize can cause the scale to either stay the same or to move up.
You might want to make your diary visible so that people can help you more.
As for that counter that tells you how much you'll weigh in five weeks- that's just a fun little thing that is based on the assumption that you eat the same things and do the same things every single day. It's more of a motivational tool than anything else and is probably not really that accurate.0 -
I was a similar weight to you in March and have lost on average 0.45kg per week since then (with calories set at 1200 per day), although my weight loss rate was also set at -1kg per week. I think losing 1kg a week is unrealistic if you are not clinically obese.
Some weeks I saw a loss, others I didn't. 3 weeks isn't a very long time, so try weighing rather than estimating your food intake, and give it a bit more time. If you are still not losing weight after that time then open your diary on here and get more advice.0
