Anyone following the Dr. Gourmet plan?

I bought the Just Tell Me What to Eat book for the recipes. As I read the first couple of chapters, I liked what he had to say. I started following the plan this week. The first day, though, with my exercise, I was way under on calories. Is anyone else finding this?

Yesterday I didn't work out, and I did snack more (recommended snacks only) and I was closer to the calorie target.

Thoughts?
