Christmas present to self of completed 30 day shred

Hi all

I bought the 30DS DVD a couple of months ago, watched (while slumped on my sofa) the first five minutes or so and then put the DVD back in its box, where it has stayed ever since.

So far my weight loss has been achieved entirely by food reduction plus a bit more walking than I used to do. But I've hit a bit of a plateau. I think, much as it goes against my natural desires, that I need to inject some exercise into my schedule.

By my age I tend not to particularly enjoy receiving Christmas presents: I already have everything I need and presents just tend to add clutter to my life. So this year I want to give myself a really good present of completing the 30 Day Shred.

I think I am reasonably unlikely to achieve it on my own to be honest, so might anyone else be willing to join me on it for accountability? I intend to start on Saturday and finish on 22nd December.

Anyone else in?

Thanks a lot

Greg

Just reposting in case anyone fancies joining me. If not, it'll have to be on my own.

Hiya, I think I am gonna join you. I always start a new exercise program, but never finish any of them.
Do you intend to do it 30 days straight without break?

I think that sounds like an awesome gift to yourself! I have done that workout, and while it is a good one, after about 5 days, the sound of her voice saying the same thing over and over drives me a bit crazy. You might want to pick up a couple of other DVD's - or once you get the hang of each level, put it on mute and listen to your favorite music. Once you get in the habit of exercise, you might be surprised how much you don't want to stop. Enjoy! :)

    That's great. Thanks very much.

Yes, I suppose I thought it would be best to do it every day. I reckon that I'm more likely to do it if I know I have to do it every day. As soon as I factor in break days, I imagine I'd be tempted to make every day a break day.

Ha ha. Thanks for the advice. I'll probably put her on mute soon enough!
