Abs are made in the kitchen?

I am currently 5ft and 110 lbs. I carry all my weight in my belly, which isnt alot at all its just a little stubborn extra skin and fat from my pregnancy 9 months ago. Ive heard abs are built in the kitchen but I don't know what foods I should eat and what I should do to 1. lose 10 lbs ( I would like to be 100 lbs) and get a flat stomach? I dont even want abs just a flat, solid belly!

There are no particular foods that will help. The phrase basically refers to losing weight by eating at a moderates deficit and eating nutritionally dense foods, which can come from anything, as long as you're meeting your macro nutrients. weight lifting is the best way to help lower body fat, combined with a deficit. Or you could do a re composition at your current weight. Maybe use scoobyworkshop. Com or iifym.com to help you with intake and you're macronutrients to help. Lift heavy!0

There aren't certain foods you should eat for visible abs or a flat belly, that saying just means you see abs when you lose enough weight from caloric deficits.0

I agree, there are no specific foods that will do the trick BUT focusing on clean, unprocessed foods is the way to go here. If you eat mostly processed food you'll have a harder time getting there!0

That's not true at all. If it was NO ONE would be able to successfully do IIFYM.
To OP, unfortunately, there's no way to spot reduce. Your options would really be to learn about weight training. A great book to start with is New Rules of Lifting for Women. I'd also do a search on the forums. There are several threads posted by Sara and SideSteel that are awesome. I'll see if I can find the links.0 -

It is obviously not sustainable, but neither is the very low body fat that most fitness models have to hit during season. It may help you get down to the body fat percentage you're trying to reach, though. And the training schedule is pretty good, too.0 -
try a weighted hula hoop, and eat a lot of protein0

I'd also like to throw in that you probably don't need to drop 10lbs, you need to lower your BF%. Lift heavy to maintain muscle mass, eat at a deficit, lose mainly fat from your deficit and lifting, get smaller according to the tape measure, but only drop a couple pounds.0 -

When I cut out sweets, pop, and foods high in sodium entirely I noticed a big difference in how I felt and looked. Especially since you're at a lower weight, those items really take a toll on you. Sodium in particular was making me look squishy! It took me awhile to get used to it, but I rarely crave those foods now and look better for it:) good luck!0
