Hello Everyone,
I know this probably sounds really stupid or peddy of me to complain about but it's making me feel stationary at the moment! I haven't lost but 12 lbs and 5 inches now to date (one month), but yet I can feel and see a major difference in my clothing and in the mirror. I have lost 1/2 inch only in my waist in about 2 wks time. I have been losing in all 3 areas this time just my waist? There's some days that I burn right at 1,000 calories and yet my weight is staying right there with not much results in inches lost. Just feeling a lil disappointed in the check in this morning... :ohwell:
Thanks,
Jenn

    Hey Jenn,

Don't get discouraged. 12 lbs and 5 inchs in a month is a major accomplishment. Are you doing any strength training? I lost inches but got them back when I started do the 30 day shred, and weight training. Make sure you are drinking all your water, and cosuming all of your daily calories allowance plus at least have of your exercise calories. KEEP IT UP you are doing GREAT

Jenn!! Your goal is 1 lb a week, and you've lost 12 in a MONTH!! That's FANTASTIC!!! At Weight Watchers, they sometimes compare pounds to sticks of butter... and that's 48 sticks of butter OFF OF YOUR BODY!! :) Next time you're at the grocery store, try picking up a 10# sack of potatoes and a couple more lbs. of apples - walk around a little bit with it and know that weight was on your body just a month ago - now it's long gone!!

I'll tell you what I know, the waist is hard to lose, it may fight to stick around. I am pre diabetic and that is where the weight is not coming off. Have you ever had your glucose level done? But I have to say you have done EXTREMELY WELL!!!!!!!!!! It is only a month in and you are getting results. Don't forget to reward yourself someway unrelated to food for these big accomplishments. I hope you stick with it cause it will come off. You can do it!
  • :flowerforyou: Thank you ladies, I've struggled with my weight all of my life and I've always had a harder time dealing with it then most. Even when I was skinny I still saw someone who was very overweight. I just wish that I could except my body the way it is, when I'm healthier weight. :grumble: I'm trying to give myself a lil bit of a break but afraid that I'm going to let myself down and just give up on this. WHICH, I really don't want to do. Someone needs to kick my butt.
