Eating out while on business

So at the beginning of December I am going to Florida for training for work. I will be there for an entire week. That is an entire week of eating out for breakfast, lunch and dinner... I hardly ever eat out now, and I am kinda freeking out a little. The biggest issue is I will be with 2 other people, and I won't be able to decide where we eat each time.
The hotel we are staying at has a nice workout area, so I will definately be utilizing that.
Has anyone else run into this? What did you do?
Any advice is greatly appriciated! Thanks!

Stick with what you know. If you don't know what the day will be like get an egg white omelette with veggies, meat and toast for breakfast, then some kind of protein salad for lunch, then you will have plenty of calories for dinner and drinks. Every restaurant has those options. Don't deprive yourself of over think it.
Where in FL? Just being nosy, I am from there.0 -
understand that a restaurant portion is generally, roughly about twice the recommended serving size...so a typical entree is going to be in the neighborhood of 800 - 1000 calories. This means, eat about half...save the rest or maybe someone will wan to split. Also, most restaurants have lower calorie offerings these days. For breakfast just get some basic scrambled eggs and toast or something...or oats and fruit, etc. I don't eat out much, but when I do I go for it...in situations like this I have to remind myself that I don't need to go for the gusto every meal..I'll be doing this throughout the week...
TL;DR...Just make good nutritional decisions and practice portion control.0 -

I skip the group breakfast outings. I take some food (e.g., bars for breakfast) that I can keep in my room. I also hit a grocery store my first night of the trip and buy fruit (and yogurt if there's a fridge). Two meals out per day was (more than) enough for me. I did this on my last trip (September) and kept on track.0
