Over on Protein under on Carbs - is it a problem?

Hey folks - I've been logging for about 4 weeks now and I'm consistantly over on my protein and under on my carbodyrates. Most the other things seem OK and I'm sticking to the total Cals each day. The protein I'm eating tends to be lean meats and egg. Should I be trying to change this?

MFP tends to set protein goals too low anyway. More protein isn't a bad thing at all. And the carb limitations set are seen more as a 'maximum', so no worries! Keep doing what you're doing :drinker:

I had this problem the other day. Then I thought…hmmmm….what has carbs, but no protein or fat…BEER. So, I had one. (No, I'm not suggesting this, nor would I make an everyday habit out of it, but I was pleased that day to find out that the rare beer I was craving fit perfectly into my macros).

that does sound perfect - except I'd make mine a Gin and Tonic :-)

It depends on the type and intensity of physical activity you have.

I found the protein goal MFP set to be far too low for me and the carbs to be too many. So I changed the goals to fit my needs.
