Confused about calorie goals?

Hey guys I'm really confused and could use some help! MFP is telling me that if I work out 5 days a week for 30 minutes I should be eating 1330 calories a day. I just found my BMR and multiplied it by 1.55 (moderately active level) and then subtracted 1000 (the number to lose 2 pounds a week) and it says I should be eating 1900 a day! That's such a HUGE difference and I don't know what one I should go by?! Any help would be MUCH appreciated <3 Love ya'll! :)

    Hmm...are you sure you calculated your BMR correctly? If my math is correct, your BMR, by those calculations, would be 1870. That sounds a bit high to me, unless you are very active and tall.
  • Don't use moderately active unless you plan to work out rigorously on a regular basis. If you have a desk job, use your sedentary TDEE, subtract 500 and then eat back exercise calories using a heart rate monitor.
