ONE HUNDRED PUSHUPS QUESTION?

I plan to start the one hundred push ups program next week ,I performed the initial test and comfortably knocked out 40 proper pushups.The site tells you to start at week 3.My question is this ,I work out a lot with weights ,I hit the gym every morning 5 times a week,I usually get a HIIT cardio then lift weights for another 30 minutes ,during the OHPU program should I refrain from lifting weights in general ,or just refrain from lifting related exercises such as bench press ,tri work ,shoulder work?

    wow! You are off to a great start already!! I did some tri work and light weights while on the days that I did the challenge. There were a few times that I had to skip a day because my arms were too sore. I guess just listen to your body....

    Personally I would replace chest/tri exercises with the push ups to start with and build to incorporating both ways of working out regularly in your routines.
