To quote Ian Stuart in one of his post "We don't care what your scale says about you. We just love you and want you to be here with us and healthy for as long as possible!"

I plan to have a healthy life for as long as possible. Most of the time, people needs to be kicked in the butt (me, included) before deciding to pursue a healthy lifestyle. For me, it was an Impaired Glucose Tolerance (IGT) diagnosis at the age of 29y/o.

The way i have dealt with this is by getting professional help. Got an endocrinologist who suggested MFP. She also gave me medication to deal with the IGT. Before i got the diagnosis(11 October 2013), my weight was 98k (215.6lb) but as of today its down to 207lb. the target weight is at 175lbs.

I plan to continue with my 1,380 calorie budget (it works for me) and hopefully introduce cardio (Just waiting for the go ahead from the physician). In the mean time, i would appreciate tips on what low impact exercises i should be doing.

Hope to hear from all of you. Thanks.:smile:
