Anyone on a low carb diet?

Hi!

I used to be quite healthy and relatively thin no matter what I ate but now after two years in a bad relationship, one year on seroquel, my sister's wedding and a few travels I've gained over 20 lbs. Cutting carbs is the only thing that has always worked for me in a jam (i.e. fitting into my bridesmaids dress, etc) but now I want to do it properly and get rid of those pounds so when I go out to buy jeggings, they will actualy fit!!! :)

So far I've been eating eggs and tuna, and when I go out, big salads but I'm getting bored and I'm only 4 days in!

What do the rest of you eat on low carb diets?

    Full fat (10%) yoghurt, cream, low carb berries (raspberries etc), home made burgers from 20% fat mince, steak, bacon, walnuts, almonds, flax / chia seed, whey protein shake, smoked fish, mackerel & other oily fish, lamb, pork belly, lots of green vegetables.
  • I just recently started doing low carb and I havent gotten bored. The key is cooking your own meals. If you dont cook this will be a hard journey for you. I also avoid trigger restaurants and I do allow myself 1 cheat day (sunday) because it is unrealistic that I will never have something sweet or bread. Thats what keep me motivasted.

    I ate all this and it was only 18 carbs

    Steak 0 carbs
    Broccoli & chesse 4 carbs
    eggs 0 carbs
    hame 2 carbs
    Enchilada 1 carb... (torilla made using coconut flour)
    cheese string 1 carb
    2 cups unsweet almomd milk 2 carbs
    Chicken salad 6 carbs
    coconut bread 2 carbs
