To workout or not to workout....DOMS

I started T25 yesterday. I love it and it is intense! Today i'm in serious pain from said intensity, and I can only imagine what tomorrow will be like. That being said, is it best to push through the pain or take a break? Once my muscles have warmed up the pain is almost gone, but is it bad to continue?

I always found that whenever I got a bad case of DOMS working out through them made it better.
I don't get DOMS often anymore but when I do I wanna die and nothing beats a couple of glasses of wine, a hot epsom salt bath and some foam rolling rofl0 -
Definitely work through it! Your sore because your body isn't used it to it, the more you stop the more sore your body will get. It sucks but work through, after a while you won't be so sore!
I agree with rewarding yourself with a hot shower, epsom salt bath or some extra foam rolling. You might also want to consider taking a recovery drink for the first week or two!
I LOVE T25! Feel free to friend me!0 -
Start doing something- do a warm up- do a quick 10-15 minute yoga video.
Re-evluate after. You may find you are more loosened up and ready to go- or you may just still feel super crunchy.
I have never used being sore as an excuse to skip a work out- there are probably days when I should have- I have done some ridiculous damage to my body before- and I should have just taken the day. Other days nope- no reason. Being sore is just that- being sore- it's not typically a reason to NOT push onward and upward.
a great deal of people do that- they start a gym- over do it- and get too sore to function- so they just quiet.
This is also why I recommend NOT taking on huge programs... it's daunting for a lot of people to be that beat up after doing NOTHING for so long.
You can do it!!! do SOMETHING and get back on the horse!!!0 -

What is T25?
probably turbo fire- or shawn T's thing
some at home HIIT style work out I assume.
I am going on the basis it's largely irrelevant which program it is really LOL.0 -
Try to work thru it... The more you move the quicker it will be to get rid of the soreness but DO NOT push too hard. Injuries can occur that way. Still train but not as hard, heavy or intense. Just get some movement going in your body.0
