Really watch your macros. Try upping the protein, and lowering your fat intake. You might also need to shoot for a smaller deficit. Like 1/2 pound a week.
  • Maybe try doing a Cleanse you'll be amazed how that rids your body of toxins, trapped water & unwanted waste that's stored!

Before kids I was about 115-120ish and I'm 5'6" after 4 kids in 5 years I got up to 232 (gained 100lbs. with baby #3) and never fully lost it before getting pregnant again. I have lost 77 lbs. so far and am currently at 155lbs. I would like to lose another 20-25 lbs. but would even be happy with another 10 myself. But I get where you're at, it seems like nothing I do is working. I just can't manage to lose anymore. Think I might up my cardio and cut my calories and see if that helps some. If you figure out something that works, please share. :)

have you recalculated your TTDE or maintenance calories in a while? maybe you are still eating at a deficit for someone much larger than you are now.

Bad advice. OP, this is false.

Recalculate your calorie needs. You may need to drop them slightly since you're body is lighter, more efficient, and and TDEE has likely dropped since you've lost weight.

The last couple lbs are the hardest to lose ... I agree with the others ... Recalculate your TDEE as you may need to readjust your cal intake as well as your macros.

I know this is going to sound like a silly question... but what is TDEE? :s

Recalculate your TDEE and adjust calorie goals or energy output.

This would be my suggestion as well.

I've been trying to lose my last 10-15 pound for 10 months now.. I've maintained around 141-145 since January and am trying to reach 125-130. I started March 2012 at 234 pounds (5'4" tall) and am really hoping to get as close to 125 as possible. My mom says that she thinks my body just "likes" being at this weight..

I've tried adding different exercise now like Kickboxing and some Strength training instead of just cardio. Not sure if that's helping. I'm too picky to adjust my diet any more than I already have..

As opposed to "wanted waste"?

it took me about a year to lose the last 10lbs. I do so eating about a 15% cut from my TDEE - great info for setting that up here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/974888-in-place-of-a-road-map-2k13 A moderate calorie deficit along with weights/resistance/strength training (whatever you want to call it - I use dumbbells from 8-20lbs because that's all I've got at the moment!) and some cardio - I workout about 45-60 minutes a day, and have my best success this way.

Make sure you take measurements and progress pics along the way, because often the scale won't show a loss yet the inches are going down. Good luck!
