Do not splenda my pie!

I don't know why, but my bf who is happy to eat ice cream almost every day always tries to get me to make the holiday pies with splenda. YUK We don't ever use splenda, we barely use sugar. But, a friend made pie with splenda one year and he liked how 'fluffy' it was. I told him he is welcome to make a splenda pie, but I like to keep my food as natural as possible...even when it's pie.

Do you guys use artificial sweeteners?

Ew. I hate the aftertaste. And there is always an aftertaste.

Never. Because I can't stand the taste of them.

My husband, however, grew up in a household where they only had diet soda and artificial sweeteners so that's what tastes normal to him.

I don't notice a difference...but I don't eat much sweet stuff anyway

I put slenda in coffee and greek yogurt. yummy

I use truvia and aspartame in my coffee and in some cereals. I cant stand the after taste of splenda, it took some getting used to truvia and aspartame, but splenda taste the worst to me.
