Breaking a plateau

Does anyone have a suggestion that really worked to get past a plateau? I have been there for almost 2 years!!!! I track and exercise but nothing is changing. My Dr. recently suggested the "Ideal Protein" plan thru the hospital. Its very expensive though and I'm reading mixed reviews. I am at a desperate phase I guess and at some point when you don't see results your motivation tanks as well.

Any and all feedback welcome please!

If you haven't lost weight in 2 years, you're eating at maintenance. No way around that. You need to eat fewer calories or expend more calories through exercise, preferably both. Make your diary public if you want more specific suggestions.

The ironic thing is i've been informed before I need to eat more calories, i'm on the low side.....confusing. Does increasing my protein make a difference or is it just about calories in calories out?
