50 Years - Where were You?

Options
It started like any other Friday in November - November 22, 1963.
Little did we know just what that day would mean to millions of people across
the world. For some of us, It's easiest said, "You had to be there" to
fully process the depth of what was rapidly transpiring and the long lasting impact
this day would have on Our Nation and the those of our world neighbors.

Your experience of that day or any comments about how this event stopped
the world and made You Think!

For me, I remember leaving grade school with my Mother so I could go to the
dentist. It was on the way to catch a bus, we heard a kid mention the President
had been shot. That was difficult to comprehend. Was it a joke? Sadly we
got confirmation over a loudspeaker on the wall of a laundramat we were passing.
We were in Orlando Florida and I remember we had considered a trip over to
the Tampa area a few days earlier to see President Kennedy. That appearance was
cancelled so we never were able to see him in person.
