My husband and I were planning to buy some DVDs for the upcoming dark days. But would you believe it? Now we are looking for some good DVDs we can't think of any... Do you know some good ones? What are your favorites? I don't like very gory horror and juicy love stories.

Thanks in advance

SO funny. I was thinking a few minutes ago about movie ideas. Actually considered posting this very post myself! I really enjoyed Django Unchained.

Here is a list I was just looking at

Typical isn't it? When you want to think of something, it just doesn't happen, even if you think yourself completely mad. Only afterwards it returns to the mind

I have seen Jurassic Park recently, which I liked a lot and the Ghost busters.

    Let's see now...

    World War Z (zombies)
    Dark Skies (aliens)
    The Heat (comedy)
    The Croods (animated)
    Iron Man (all of them)
    We're the MIllers (comedy)
    Despicable Me 1&2 (animated)
    Grown Ups 1&2 (comedy)
    Man of Steel (superman)
    Spiderman (all of them)
    The Conjuring (scary, not gory)
    The Others (scary, not gory)
    Frozen Ground (crime/thriller)

I could go on and on. I don't know how you feel about downloaded movies but primewire.ag is a great site for movies and TV shows. Project Free TV is great for tv shows that netflix doesn't necessarily have.

We don't live that far apart!

For me it's netflix all the way. You can get a VPN. And here is a month free trial.
